Well let me start by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hate to ruin everyone’s holiday celebration with some sad news, but it can’t be helped unfortunately. While I was using my MacBook Pro last night, I noticed that the right shift key has begun to stick. The key does still work; however, the sticking of it is bad enough that I’ve already contacted Apple support to set-up an appointment with the Genius Bar. I don’t know if this is the first official report of a 13” 2019 MBP 4TB3 key failing, but either way here it is. It’s pretty disappointing to know that not even this iteration is immune to the keyboard failure. I’m wondering from those who’ve also experienced keyboard failures with these butterfly machines how long Apple typically takes to repair/replace the damaged keyboard? I appreciate any help I receive. Happy holidays folks!
