Hello there,

I recently purchased a new refurb 2019 Macbook Pro 13". Everything is great, except for from time to time it can't wake from sleep. I'm using a caldigit t3 hub to connect My Mac (in clamshell) to an external monitor. Even opening the lid does not wake it and only press the power button will wake it from slumber. I also have a 15" and it does not exhibit the same issue. I wonder if this is a common issue for the 13".

I don't think your issue is unique to Caldigit, although I have seen other reports about Caldigit. My 16" is very unreliable at waking the screen (not even sleep), sometimes my second screen doesn't come on, and lately my main screen is woken, but blank. I have to open up my clamshell, reinsert cables etc, until it wakes up. Very annoying.
