Hi all,
I am having an extremely annoying problem with my laptop.
I use 2x Dell 2414h 1080p displays at work and ideally id like to connect my mac to them.
I use 2x usb type c to DP cables connected directly to the laptop and they do not always work.
One day everything will be fine and both will work from the get go. Other days only 1 display works. Sometimes neither do. I have a total of 5 cables which cost $15 each and I swap them out all the time.
Ive never been able to find out the exact cause.

Please help... this is the first mac ive wanted to close the other way around. This is the most frustrating thing thats ever happened to me with an apple product mostly because i am unable to find the root cause. Its as if whether it works depends on its mood or something...

Ive tried
- Restart
- Port changing
- NVPRAM and SMC cleared
- Latest update
- Option key pressed and detect display under displays (nothing)
- Restart with cable plugged in
- Cable swapping
