Hi guys,

I'm working on a project with facial recognition using Python. Whenever I run the script I wrote, which is quite power consuming, my iMac's PSU starts clicking/fizzling. My script and the way it's written makes it so that the CPU constantly going from 100% usage to 0% and back again. There is nothing else that could produce that sound and it only occurs when I run my script. Could it have something to do with a bad PSU? Or is it because of the constant switching between 0 and 100% CPU load? It doesn't occur when I stress test the CPU and GPU simultaneously, which has the PSU at 100% capacity...

Anyway I don't think something like this is supposed to happen? Do you guys have any tips or advice? I added a video with the noise below (you'll have to turn up the volume though). I know for sure it's the PSU since the sound is coming from just left of the Apple logo in the chin...
