I have a 2020 intel MacBook Air. I was having trouble with the usb c connection where every time I moved the usbc cable the MacBook Air would lose power connection and the icon would switch to battery icon only.I shut down the Mac air and changed the usb c cable and rebooted and it seems to be working again. Is there any way to know for sure it was just the wire and not the usb c port? I am worried because I only have 4 weeks left on my warranty since I never bought AppleCare.

Yes, this is a known issue with all Intel Macbook Air/Pro models. If you got warranty, go to Apple fast and claim it. This is a future expensive repair.
