Bought 2020 MacBook Pro 13” 8th gen 2 days ago from Best Buy for $200 less than Apple.

3rd hour using - trackpad Became sketchy, stuttering, freezing & slow when scrolling. Useless.

Apple (phone) said hardware issue. Returning it. Anyone know if Best Buy is selling “problem laptops” for $200 less? Or is this an issue developing with the 2020 MacBook Pro??

Cannot decide whether to get another one and take the risk that it will happen again. It is pretty much unusable as it is.

Any advice? Thank you!
 
Yeah that's frustrating when your new rig has an issue, but Best Buy sells sealed new Apple products. Sounds like yours happened to have an issue. That's on Apple, not Best Buy.
