Macbook Air 2020 (Intel) 85 or 86 battery level, almost same as my 2017 one, dies several times daily, diagnostics found nothing. also constantly locks me out or instagram and other sites for thinking I am not on the right IP.

Sorry to hear that, Unfortunately, batteries suck and they only thing you can do is get the battery replaced.
the only thing i can think of is that i never use screensavers and leave my screen on at all times when using it. and mostly put my laptop to sleep/don't shut down. but i have always done this since my first macs ten years ago and they didn't have that particular problem. i just don't want the things i'm working on to be closed/deleted if i am away from my computer for a few seconds/minutes.

Sounds like bad battery, abrupt battery drop (I assume that is what you have = "dies several times daily") is likely simply bad battery. If it is under warranty or AppleCare, Apple should repalce it free. Else, get it replaced.
The other thing listed does not seem to be battery related and I cannot even guess what your problem manifestation is from this description. Sounds like network issue.

just replace battery. If you don't, constant energy fluctuations may adversely affect the notebook innards (for example fry some chips inside). So get it serviced or replace yourself.

The battery on my 2020 i5/8/512 was never really that great but I really did like that machine. I ending up giving to my daughter and last time I checked the battery was in the same condition as yours 86%ish I think. She leaves it plugged in most of the time otherwise I would change it for her.
