2020 MBP (Non-Apple Retailers. Best B/Costco/Amazon) Order Status

Curious if anyone has purchased from these guys. I know sometimes Best Buy ships and delivers before Apple and it seems Apple has 3 week out shipments for the 2020 MBP.

Best Buy says “Ships By May 15” for most of the MBP 2020s however doesn’t give much more info than that.

Ordered from amazon 5/8, no delivery date yet, will update when they give me a delivery date.

I ordered the $1799 model from Adorama on 05/06 and am curious as well to when retailers (other than Apple) begin to ship. I saved a decent amount of money on top of EDU or my companies corporate discount with Apple (which was less than EDU), though I still am anxious...

I called Best Buy store today to see if they had any coming in, since 3 models say “coming soon” with no info, and 1 model can be picked up

The Best Buy sales rep said although the site says “shipping by May 15” he cannot promise that as he says they are back ordered.
 
I don't have any order status to report, but I just wanted to say....You guys/gals are in for a real treat!! The 2020 MBP 13" is an incredible, dare I say, PERFECT, machine. 😍

(I ordered from Apple and got it last Thursday... 10th gen i7 / 32GB RAM / 2TB SSD)

Got 3 orders (all placed yesterday), Best Buy, Costco and Amazon. As soon as I get the first shipping notification, I will cancel the other two orders. I did this because I really need a laptop for school ASAP. I got a loaner PC and its terrible lol

Best Buy has the earliest ship date as 5/15, Costco 5/25 and Amazon is unknown.


Best Buy and Costco already put a pending charge to my credit card.

Item:

Space grey MBP i5, 16gb, 512GB $1799 (Costco is $1749 + 2nd year warranty).

Hoping costco ships first so I can cancel the rest. I payed with my Discover card and got an extra $90 off.
 
Went with Amazon also on i5/16/512 $1799 model so waiting also. There is now a 3rd party option selling at retail and free shipping.
 
I ordered on 5/10 from Best Buy, since that is the credit card that I have. Still says ship by friday. $1799 version. I just need it to arrive by the 31st so i cant return my Air.

Worth noting that apple is showing that model with a May 20-28 delivery, which is better than it reported yesterday.

I ordered the $1999 (i5/16GB/1TB Space Grey) model from Best Buy on May 5th before 7pm.
This morning (5/12), I had two holds on my credit card; one for the MBP and one for AppleCare+
After 7pm tonight, I got an email notice indicating that the MBP shipped via UPS. Now the wait for it to arrive.

Ordered from Apple on 5/7 with a 5/26-6/2 delivery date, however tonight saw Best Buy had it back in stock for delivery this Friday. Cancelled with Apple and went with them.

I'm tempted to do that as well, but I'm returning my MacBook Air to Amazon, so it will be a lot easier if it's just get one and return one and apply the credit. Also 5% of $2k is not nothing.

Got delivery for Wednesday after it said on their site delivery was today.

I still have the Costco order and I haven’t received any update on it. Hoping that one ships already just because of the $150 savings ill get

That is quite the push back, but I guess you secretly don't mind so Costco can come sooner.
