Am I the only one who is experiencing terribly slow wifi on the new MacBook Pro? Is there a fix for this?

Download speed never going higher than 500 Kbit/s. Also when that speed is reached, all other network related tasks, even browsing, are super slow.

All my other computers wifi connections are working just fine

Your Noise is low (good), but your RSSI is low (bad), indicating low signal strength received. Normally with this low RSSI with a dual band router it would switch to the 2.4GHz band.

Do you have another device you can test RSSI on the 5GHz band in the same location?

Need to get -60 dBm RSSI or better. Move close to the router. If still no good, something is wrong.

I typically get 200-300 Mbps download speed on my 14" MBP, with a connection speed of 866 Mbps (max for 802.11ac on this MBP)
