Is ProMotion an issue on your MBP?

I haven't received mine yet, but want to see the consensus on MR.

It's not an issue for me because I don't expect perfection. Regardless of the LCD display, the LCD manufacturer, and/or the motion technology, there are always going to be artifacts.

Yeah I mean it's objectively 60hz, go to testufo.com and compare Chrome with Safari.

I think it's just a bug that needs to get fixed, it'll be fixed in no time.

All of them have the issue in Safari right now. If you have the machine and don't think so you either can't notice high refresh rates or are blind. :D

Is the thinking that it happens on every machine, but can be corrected by software update?
The 120hz works within certain applications, example News, but for some reason not while web browsing or in Apple Music. With this is mind, it’s surely a software issue, and should be able to be fixed with an update.

Are some users not looking for the right thing or are they actually having no ProMotion issues? Hmm...

As I said, I have no clue as I've yet to even see the machine.

For those who've seen it in store, have you seen the ProMotion issue?
