2022 iPad Pro 12.9 AND Home Button

Purchased 2022 iPad Pro, first year ipad doesn't come with a home button at bottom of ipad. Instead home button is a movable white cirrcle, that often blends into screen..It is very frustrating!!

Can this "power touch" home button be changed to a different color?

Just want to make sure you really need the "home button", you are aware that you can swipe up to get back to the home screen right?

But if you need to still use it you can change opacity (not colour), that might help.
Since you post in the iOS 16 area I'm guessing you are running iPadOS16 on your device, if you do, give your device a well needed update to iOS 18.1.1 There is loads of security patches that has been released.

OMG Seriously? No I did not know that swiping up Gesture = home screen. I am a windows user, and am trying to assist my 86 yr old mother with her iPad pro. My next visit I will be sure it is updated. AND Remove the on screen movable home button, have her try the swiping up gesture. THank You !!

My mother sends Huge Thank you for pointing out Home Screen works with upward swipe. I removed it and as I visit 3rd day, she is so very pleased and more relaxed in using ipad.

Also updated last nite to most recent ios 18.2.
