iPad 2022 iPad vs 2020 iPad Air?

I recently smashed my iPad Air from 2020 and need to replace it. I’ve noticed that the 2022 iPad seems to have identical specs to my old Air… is that correct? Will I notice any performance difference? Anything particular to note?

You won't notice any performance difference. The main differences are laminated vs non laminated screen, pencil 2 support for the air and slightly better speakers for the air (and faster UBS transfer if you use external storage, USB 3 vs USB 2 on the iPad 10)
