Okay guys... I'm sworn to secrecy on this matter, but my uncle is a good friend of Steve Jobs, and Leopard is going to have something so revolutionary, so surprising, that no one could have ever thought about it before it's released.

It's gonna be released, and people will say "Wow, I never thought about that possibility". It's gonna be groundbreaking.

I can't tell you what it's gonna be, but I can tell you this much.

Three more months 'till WWDC, but let me guess, it's related to why Boot Camp is a Beta.

Something to make Windows Vista look like what Win98 is like today I guess.

Probably that, but also, I think we knew that something revolutionary that no one has ever thought about will be released.

What tables will it turn? seems like OSX is alread on top. Thanks for this amazingly interesting here-say thread tho! I'm starting to expect them! :D

My dad has is a great friend of the President. You can't tell anyone else, but he told my dad that... they aren't leaving Iraq tomorrow at 4 PM. You heard it here first though.

I can absolutely assure you that there will be nothing in Leopard that no one else has thought about before. Implemented on a major platform? Maybe not. But thought about and implemented on a minor platform or academically (and findable via an Internet search)? Undoubtedly.

Feel free to mock this post openly if I'm wrong... but I'm not going to lose sleep over that possibility. I'm still waiting for stuff in BeOS '96 to show up.

Fast OS Switching would be awesome but he said its something we'll never think of, so its not that ;)
Please stop posting ideas! If you mention the one that'll be in there, they'll have to take it out! ;)

Aaaactually, Steve Jobs is my wife and he was showing me his big, hairy leopard and to be honest, it's a step back from his Tiger thingo. He's abolished the GUI, which I think he's already regretting.

I expect that's not all he's regretting.

Do any of you guys know of that puzzle of the nine dots?

You have nine dots on a piece of paper, and you're instructed to connect them with straight lines, never lifting your pen off the paper, and never going over the same line twice. Try it.

The solution to the problem is thinking outside the nine dots. The instructions never said you can't make lines outside the dots... but most people don't think like that.

Apple is thinking outside the nine dots with OS X Leopard.

yes i believe you

Ha ha. I was thinking the same thing.

I think Leopard is going to steal Windows 95 GUI.

I think the Finder will be given the boot.
Something to do with Spotlight....

So Leopard is going to be a puzzle that the average person won't be able to solve? Or is Leopard going to involve using a pencil?

I'm very excited for Leopard. I just hope that it doesn't become over hyped before its out like every other rumor. Then we'll all be disappointed...

Oh, Leopard it connects to your brain and now you can control iLife with your thoughts.

Screw the right click mouses. I just think right click. Stupid windows and their physical use of right clicks. Not us Leopard Mac people we just think it!

Or maybe the rumors of apple making a patent for a the screen to work as the iSight now. I think thats right? well maybe leopard is controlled by our eyes. Blick twice for a click. Blick twice while holding option for right click.

Why can't an iSight do that?

No, it's metaphorical.

No, no, no. It's the slogan.

OS X.5. Thinking outside the nine dots.

Leopards do have dots, after all.

I really don't think your joking, because it's not everyday someone says, "My Uncle is a good friend of Steve Jobs". I will resurrect this thread come WWDC if something revolutionary happens. If it does not happen, the heat is coming for you my friend.:p
