iPad 2025 - Apple Pencil 1 v. Logitech Crayon?

Hey Everyone,

I picked up a used 8th gen iPad to play around with. I was curious which is better Gen1 Apple Pencil or Logitech Crayon? I'm no artist, so the only thing I will mainly be using the pencil / crayon for is writing and taking notes.

Any thoughts on which is better for an 8th Gen iPad?

Neither. For note taking, something like this works just fine and is a lot cheaper.

Plenty of other Apple Pencil clones on Amazon, ebay, AliExpress, etc. that use the same technology as the Logitech Crayon. Bonus, these can be used with newer iPads as well.

WOW! Thanks, i almost lost the cap to my pencil and the replacement probably cost more than that stylus!
