Pairing Apple remote to different Mac?

Hi, i have mac mini and MBP, when i press the menu button on my apple remote, both mac mini and MBP will respond (open the front row or wake up when either one is sleeping) Can i pair 1 remote for my MBP and the other for my mini? Can anyone help me on how to do it, thanks :)
