2048x768 image across dual display

I've been pummeling the search feature on the board (sigh...if only it were fast like spotlight...), but I have yet to find an answer. I got some wicked desktop images at a res of 2048x768 (ie two 1024s side by side), and I want to know if there's some way to have the one image span full across both screens. I've tried various settings in sys prefs but have come up short.

Any ideas?

You need to crop the image to 2 1024x768 file images, save and use.

Most websites offer a "side A/side B" download so its done automatically.
