...??? Am I missing something? I don't see a poll. Or a question. :(

...I love polls :(

Sorry, I had to go offline for a few minutes..... here's the poll :)

Amazing! 90% of votes are for "bottom" Dock position with hiding off.

Hmm I thought there were more people who dont want to give Dock a lot of pixels at the bottom! :D

Maybe we have to gove this poll a bit more time ;)

What about the hacks that make it, top, top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right, left top, left bottom, right top, right bottom? Developer style In other words

Mine has been basically everywhere (including where those hacks that slooksterPSV was suggesting allow you to have it) but it is now comfortably sitting at the bottom - not hidden - on my mini with its 20" screen.
On my iBook it's at the bottom not hidden as well, but was on the left/hidden for months.

I just can't stand it at the right as it's always overlapping with something else..

Bottom with full Magnification. :)
I also have it on the bottom with some magnification, but I cannot stand full magnification (unless the dock is huge to begin with).

I find it a bit disorienting to go down towards an icon and suddenly have it become 5x the size.

I used to have my dock on the left for quite some time, but about 6 months ago, I changed it to the bottom, and I love it there. So much easier! :)

If I add more applications, what's going to happen to my dock? will it get smaller and smaller even though the size is set to smallest? or will it extent off the screen? I have:
Finder, Dashboard, Addressbook,m Mail, Safari, Camino, Firefox, Bon Echo, Sea Monkey, iChat, MSN Messenger, Adium, Quicken, Apple Works, AbiWord, Pages, KeyNote, Taco Edit, Text Wrangler, iTunes, Radio Recorder, Audacity, Skype, Gizmo, Seashore, RagTime Solo, iPhoto, iMovie, iDVD, Garage Band, iWeb, iCal, QuickTime, VLC, iBlog, Digital Color meter, GPGThing, GPG Keychain Access, Grapher, Graal, Onyx, Lexmark Z611, XCode, Disk Utilitiy, Neo Office, RealBASIC Demo, Terminal, X11, System Preferences, Automator | Home, Apple.com, Trash

Phew, that's a lot.
