For the first time ever our 20g ipod will not connect to itunes when placed in dock. The icon for the ipod isn't even showing up, and will not boot iTunes.
Help! Could this be a battery problem?

Is your iPod coming up with the "do not disconnect" screen? What happens if you use the cable directly, instead of the dock? Do you have another FireWire port you can try?

Thanks!

When I would connect it to the dock, there was absolutely no response.
I took your advice and used the firewire to USB cable and it recognized it. I wonder why the dock will not recognize the ipod anymore?
Oh well, we can connect now with the other cable. weird.
THANKS!
:) :D
