Which would you choose?

21.5'' 3.06Ghz, 1TB, 4670 or a refurb 24''' 2.93ghz, 640GB with GT 130?

The 24'' is about £200 less....

Any ideas?

I would save your money untill you can easily afford the 27" It's kinda like dumping money in a car to hold off buying a new one. You are never quite satisfied and end up buying the new car before you thought you would. In fact, if you don't buy the new car now, you can afford the 27"!! (Mac Logic at its best)

Personally I just ordered the step up from that with the GT 130.

I'm not a pro video or photo guy, I just needed an additional computer for my other office.

The 24" seemed like a great deal based on the original MSRP (even taking into consideration the immediate drop with the new 27"). The 24" will give me just enough real estate to work on and it will certainly be plenty fast for my needs.

Also, I won't feel as guilty if I want to trade up later when a new iMac comes out next year and I'm looking for an upgrade (maybe).

21.5 imac i'd say... unless you desperately need screen space, the quality and spec will be nicer and hey, you'll have a brand new one rather then an older one
