21.5" w/SSD 2-3 Weeks / 27" w/SSD 4-6 weeks

I am wondering why the 21.5"w/SSD will get theirs in 2-3 weeks, while the 27"'s will take 4-6 weeks with the same SSD config.

So does anyone have an idea why this may be the case? I'm not sure it was discussed earlier but I couldn't find it on the forums.

The best explanation is the shipping dates for all SSD-equipped iMacs are still heavily padded and reflect the expected worst-case scenario, not reality.
