Hello everybody; having been a devotee of this site for a few weeks before Apple finally announced the "new" iMac, I feel I know most of you. Thank you for keeping me right-royally entertained over the past few months.

I ordered my iMac on the 30th of November, at 11,30 AM GMT; it would have been earlier, only I had problems with my cc when ordering online, and had to phone the order through. The computer was supposed to be delivered between the 17th and 20th of December; a "fact" which has been confirmed with chats with various Apple HQs the world over, in the past couple of days.

Today, on the eleventh day of the Apple's ten business-day processing period, however, I received an email (at 17.30 GMT), informing me that there is going to be a delay, due to their not being able to meet the dispatch date. New times are between the 28th and 3rd of January, but as the delivery address is my business in London, and we shan't be open on the 28th of December, through the 1st of January, it's all gone rather Peter Tong!

Is anybody else in this position? I am, of course, delighted for everybody who has received theirs already, but my already heightened sense of paranoia is not being aided by this state of affairs, and, schadenfreude aside, would really appreciate it if I knew of someone else who may share the feeling of utter desperation this has brought on.
