It's most likely real. If you dredge through the MR archives, it becomes shockingly clear that insects, especially ants, are especially fond of taking up residence inside Apple hardware.
 
How could there be enough clearance between the LCD outer plastic and the LCD screen element to allow an ant to crawl around like that.

Seems suspicous to me, although I don't dispute that insects love computers.

I'd like to add that I never got rid of 1 particular bug, sitting close to the edge of the screen, dead.

I believe the video is not fake, it looks the same as what I had, just a different insect.
