21in iMac vs 27in Decision + is it worth the extra specs?(refurb)

Hey guys! I could really use your help!

I am a Mac user on a budget so I have to go refurb. The price difference is about 425 dollars between the two models listed below. I really want the 27in Imac but I am wondering if I should maybe save the 420$ and put that into software for the computer accessories (add to savings )etc. I plan on doing some music producing and minimal video editing, music, more casual kind of use plus school. I am just wondering besides the screen improvement is the 420$ upgrade for a better GPU and Graphic's Card going to be worth the money? I think the 27 would have a better workflow with the extra space?

I would suggest going for the 27 as the memory is upgradeable. The extra screen real estate is a nice bonus.

That is a plus but I don't see myself needing more then 8GB ram... at this time? But very good insight thanks!
