I know, I did a horrible thing and bought a PC desktop :) But I did this because I needed something that would be super powerful for rendering video and on the cheap -- an Alienware from 2016 for like $300. But I still have an iPad and a Macbook 13, which I would like to connect to an external monitor. The new Apple displays are out of my price range and I don't want a 27" monitor (too big for my desk setup), but looking for a 22-24" monitor. Any good recommendations for PC (HDMI) and Macbook connectivity (maybe USB-C)?

Someone mentioned this guy, which looks sweet and pretty low-profile -
