I've just bought a mini DVI to VGA adapter for my Macbook, and hooked it up to my Acer 22" external monitor. It wasn't a hassle setting up, but I'm noticing a couple of issues.
Firstly, there is some noticeable lag when dotting about OS X. When resizing windows, moving between spaces etc.. there is some frame rate problems.
Secondly, everything looks every so slightly blurry ... or hazy. Can't quite put my finger on it, but it's definitely there. The picture isn't as sharp as it is on the Macbook.
Just wondering if these are usual problem when hooking a Macbook up to an external display. I'm running at 1680x1050.
