Uhh...
Ok, so I found this guy who is selling a white acrylic 22' cinema display. He claims that he purchased in early 2004 and that it has very few hours of use as his desktop died and he never replaced it. He wants $325 u.s. for it,.. is this a good deal or not?

I am a college student.. but I don't want to purchase a display that is going to be a problem. On the other hand, 1900x1200 running out of my MacBook Pro sounds pretty great as well.

Good deal or not?

You could get a new 22 inch LCD (non Apple) for around that, with more connections. Personally, I'd buy something else. The 22 inch gateway monitor I have can be found for about $325 right now.

This does sound like it's a great deal, though you should verify whether it is a 22" Apple Cinema Display (1600x1024) or a 23" Apple Cinema HD Display (1900x1200).

Based on when the previous owner bought it, it sounds like the 23", and it's a great deal either way. Just be certain what you're buying. :)

Im not sure, I passed on it.. the guy wanted to meet me somewhere but (of course) I wanted to have some time to check for deal pixels and bad backlighting. I'm going to wait for the ACD refresh and purchase the aluminum version. Thanks for your thoughts!
