23-24in Monitor for around $200?

Hi guys,

First off I'd just like to say these are some if the best forums for finding stuff out, so thanks everyone!

I know there's a lot of monitor post around but none have seemed to answer my question. I'm looking for a monitor for my 13" 2.16GHz Black MacBook. I'm looking to spend around $200 up to a max $300. I'm not using it for anything graphics intensive, I just want something easier on my eyes. I will be using it for mainly research, and I am going to be getting into web design soon. I would prefer a bigger size (23-24in) and would like to get 1900x1200 resolution out of it if possible.

Its not 1900x1200, but this monitor looks to be pretty good. Its an ASUS monitor. I just recently bough this from ASUS, and I love it. One of the best purchases I've made in a long time.

Here are some 1920x1200 monitors but they are little pricey. You can get 1920x1080 monitor for much less than 1920x1200, link.

Would this work? I would definitely put down the extra money for a 25.5" display considering the rebate. Can a 2.16GHz push the display size?

I have a mini-dvi to VGA, would I get better picture quality out of mini-dvi to dvi?
