23" ACD Screen Flicker

It looks faintly similar to what a crt looks like when on TV, some sort of rippling flicker..

Anybody else seen this problem with the 23" ACD? What is the best plan of action when dealing with apple care in your experiences? They say I have to send it in, but then, what do i do with my mac pro when i have no screen??? How can I do work?
