I gave away my 23" Alum & Chiclet wired keyboard to someone else and they are a PC user using Windows 7 SP1. Apparently when they shut down the system, the monitor stays on. Even when the system is on, the monitor cannot be shut off.

Very weird. I know that if the display doesn't get a signal, it turns off. But in this case, if the system is off, it still has the front light on, but it doesn't get hot so apparently it's not "on."

I also got the brightness and volume indicator to work so it makes Windows more usable (thanks bootcamp drivers!) :D

A workaround (if the system is on) for it is I put the display to sleep after 15 minutes of it being idle.

Any help appreciated.
