23" Apple Cinema Display w/Applecare... screenburn?

I have loved my 23" ACD for two years. It has about a year to go on Applecare. I noticed the other day that there was screenburn on the side where I put the dock on the desktop.

Is this covered under Applecare? I love my screen, no issues whatsoever than this, but should I use this to request a replacement or fix for it?

How would they fix it?
