23" cinema display still good buy?

Looking at some on eBay...

Are they any good? Dont really like the new glossy ones and these are in my price bracket.

They are still pretty good. But just make sure you have a way to connect them. Either with an older PPC Mac with a ADC port or an Apple ADC to DVI adapter.

They are still very good buys in my opinion. Using 30" and 23" ones (the aluminium ones) and they are truly awesome

They did, but not anymore. There are two different things that are called the same thing. You want the Apple ADC to DVI adapter. It looks like a Macbook (Pro) Magsafe brick, but with more wires. Do not get the simple wire adapter.
