23" Cinema Display

Hi Guys, Just a quick question, been searching for an answer the last few days, but been unlucky...

I'm just curious, why has my Cinema Display standby light stopped glowing (from dim to bright then back again)? I'm sure it use to do this when i first got it - the display itself is only 6months old

Any ideas???
