I have a 23 inch aluminum display - since Snow Leopard on occasion my Power Button on the monitor fails to bring up the shut down/sleep window. the monitor flashes it light to recognize the command/button push, but no menu pops up. This is definitely intermittent but I can't find a pattern - just sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't (until next reboot).
Anyone else experience this? If this just a bug in the software or is it a personal attack by my passive aggressive my hardware?
My other theory is that the Safari saps this resource to make itself snappier.
