I have recently purchased the 23 inch HD ACD for my dual 1.8 G5 and noticed the video quality is not very good. DVD's and other videos are pixelated and overall "fuzzy" while images are extremely crisp. Would this be due to the fact that I'm still using the ATI Radeon 9600 Pro graphic card that came with the MAC when I purchased it in February '04? If this is the case, could someone reccomend a more up-to-date graphic card that would give true HD video viewing? Thanks in advance.

dvds arent hd quality, dont expect that from them. your 23" is 2.3 megapixel, while a dvd is .48 megapixel. quite a difference.

have you tried some of the high-def trailers?

how do they look? the 1080p ones should fit perfectly on the 23" for no need to scale up.
