Here you can buy an ipod 5g and you can choose from 23 different colors. the only downside is the $75 extra that you'd have to pay

I have long known about that site. Very tempting. Back in the day when I got my 3G they had better color choice. Had some cool wavy and marble color schemes. Wonder why they stopped.

This looks oddly familiar....

Yet strangely very cool.

I want one. I think the smaller click wheel makes the red look good, I always thought the old U2 iPod was too red, this is perfect.

I can only assume their just going with the same 23 colours they offer for every product.

At least the white one changes the color of the click wheel. Jet Black however...changes the shininess?

I almost got the "Smoke" (white) one from ColorWarePC.com when I got my last iPod. Partly because I don't like the gray clickwheel, but more importantly ColorwarePC uses a scratch-resistant clear coat on all of their iPods. Ultimately, I decided I would get an invisible shield instead.

I have always been a fan of ColorWare. Sure it is pricey, but finished products look really good in my estimation and I may very well consider it if Apple remains with just the current B&W options. Aside from a far more vibrant color combo, the big selling point to many is the greater resistance to scratches.

I've always thought that'd be cool (If I had the extra money), but then would it void Apple's warranty? And if it broke, and Apple did replace it, you'd have to get it painted all over again. :(
