23" to 25" Gaming external screen

I am looking for a screen to buy for my Mac and gaming PC desktop. I have been using the Dell 24" models and they work great but is there anything better around? I do not really know a lot about displays and i need help with my decision.

I am looking to get the best result for my PC desktop while gaming, i do not know what i should look for.

I have a gateway FHD2400. Dell's are good also.

dells are crap i has 20inch dell but colours looked crap.

i bought 24inch samsung the constrat is so much higher and picture is so much better.
