So I've been looking at display from Dell(in their outlet) to save some cash but still get a good product. I'm looking at 20 to 23 inch displays. The resolution requirement is 1920x1080, but I'm curious what people think about the actual size of the display.

How much does that matter for you? I'm a college student, so I'm not looking to spend a ton, but the highest display I'm looking at is 249, which I could swing. Also room is limited, as I'm in a dorm, but again, if the 23'' was worth it, I could swing it. Any first hand accounts based off personal use?

Thanks

If it is sitting right in front of you (rather than viewing videos from across the room) the size isn't important. What is important is number of pixels and (depending on what you are doing) the type of display. Some displays have very limited viewing angles and low contrast ratios.
