Alright, I'm getting quite frustrated with this monitor. I bought the 24" ACD in around December 2009 refurbished and bought apple care. The first time, I got a pink line going down one side of my screen. Got a replacement through FedEx. Then I had a discolored part of my screen that required panel replacement which I took in on July 21, 2010. Got it back just yesterday, August 5, 2010. :( Then now I plug it into my macbook pro and I get black on/off effect for around a second or less. Its not continuous, sporadic.

I have latest software update, 2009 15" MBP, bluetooth apple keyboard, magic mouse connected to it, as well as two usb connectors for my iphone syncing and stuff. Called applecare today, did the SMC/PRAM resets. I still got a blackout one time. Difficult to reproduce in a short amount of time. So I got directed to go to local Apple Store. They tried to replicate it but could not at the genius bar. They took it in to "Stress test" it and ordered more parts just in case. What could be wrong?!

I dont play games on my Mac, only on PS3, but rarely do I play games. I'm not a graphics designer or resource intensive person. I'm a graduate student in the nurse practitioner program doing pubmed research, papers, keynote presentations, etc. I use office for mac 2008 or iWork '09. This is frustrating indeed. I tried to google the issue and seems like many people actually got the same issue or worse (more frequent flickering). Can someone help? I really love this monitor because it's "made" for this machine.
