I am on the fence on getting a new monitor. I currently have the Dell Ultrasharp 2005WFP and looking to replace it with a 24" screen. I have narrowed my search to the 24" LED ACD and the HP LP2475w. With my Developer's discount and purchasing it along side the new Mac Pro the ACD comes to 809. The HP LP2475w is running about 600 or roughly 200 dollars cheaper.
I know they are both LG.Display IPS panels and both uses the DisplayPort (needed/wanted for the MP). ACD is LED. HP has more inputs; good in the case I end up handing that screen down years later or using it for another purpose. The question is, Is there anything that should ver me towards the ACD? The glossy screen kind of concerns me but overall, the screen looks very nice in the store. Unfortunately, I cannot find a local store to see the HP screen.
