Hey guys/gals I just discovered this forum in my searching for answers. I'm an avid MAC/PC user, and I read a bunch of threads here and this seemed to be the place to look to.

My situation:

My 20" viewsonic just took a dump and I'm in need of a new monitor. My 24" iMac is running like a dream, but my PC needs a monitor of equal quality. For work and play I need both unfortunately or else I'd be on the MAC 24/7.:D

PC Specs:

OS: Vista Ultimate 64bit.
VC: Nvidia Geforce GTX 260

Is the Apple LED cinema Display compatible with my PC? Will the Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter work? Or another apple adapter?

I don't believe it would, as the Mini DisplayPort to DVI is a male connector on the Mini DisplayPort side. You'd need a female version of that.
