24" Apple LED Cinema Display compatibility with PC

Hey guys/gals I just discovered this forum in my searching for answers. I'm an avid MAC/PC user, and I read a bunch of threads here and this seemed to be the place to look to.

My situation:

My 20" viewsonic just took a dump and I'm in need of a new monitor. My 24" iMac is running like a dream, but my PC needs a monitor of equal quality. For work and play I need both unfortunately or else I'd be on the MAC 24/7.

PC Specs:

OS: Vista Ultimate 64bit.
VC: Nvidia Geforce GTX 260

Is the Apple LED cinema Display compatible with my PC? Will the Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter work? Or another apple adapter?

Is the Apple LED cinema Display compatible with my PC? Will the Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter work?

I don't believe it would, as the Mini DisplayPort to DVI is a male connector on the Mini DisplayPort side. You'd need a female version of that.

No, unfortunately, there currently is no way of connecting a 24" ACD to your PC.
