I'm a bit of an audiophile sitting in my home studio listening to music. I just switched to mac and was wondering if there's some music application that can play music files in a suberb quality through a 24-bit soundcard.

For windows I used "Apollo". It had the best audio quality I've ever heard and kind of can't live without it. In comparison itunes sounds like a drycleaner.

Thanks.

I think you'll like Play. Gapless playback for many formats, Replaygain, 24bit (or was it 32bit?) output and more niceties.

It is actively developed and staying current by using the unstable instead of stable version is usually pretty safe and quite beneficial.

Thank YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you!!!! IS there any other audio program for the mac that will do the same...I cannot stand itunes....
