24" Cinema Display and a PMG5?

Hey...With the Display Port being an open format and there existing DVI to Mini Displayport adaptors, does that mean I can hook up my PMG5 to it?

Using a 17" Cinema Display sucks and I have no iSight so figured, 2 birds, 1 expensive stone should solve it lol.

If there was a MiniDisplay Port connector that outputed gold rocks, you'd also be a rich man, theoritically.
