24" Cinema Display, or refurb.

Hello.

I'm looking to get either a clean 2nd hand 24" Cinema Display, or a refurb 27" (non-Thunderbolt) for my MacBook Pro. My iMac was stolen, and until the insurance is sorted I can't afford to replace it. That could take months.

I wonder if anyone knows anywhere in the UK where I could hunt one down? Apple have none, I don't trust eBay for such as expensive buy. Or heck, if anyone has one for sale, gimme a shout

As amazing as the Apple displays look, they really aren't worth it. I would look for a large monitor from Dell or somewhere else. You can get the same size and resolution for about half the price. All you need is an adapter for mini display port and your set.
