i have 24" HCD & MBP 15" calibrated with Sypder 3.

MBP has the auto brightness set so that changes fine for ambient light..but the HCD always starts on full brightness and i have to change brightness manually all day as i am in a bright room at home!

can/how do you set your brightness control to automatic on the HCD so that it matches the MBP?

thanks!

When you say 24" HCD, I am assuming you mean ACD.

I haven't tried this application as I am currently unable to plug in my ACD but apparantly it automatically adjusts the external display brightness with the MBP brightness.

Its the LED display so i guess yes...unless there is a specific setting to do this, i have found that the MBP does adjust automatically but not the LED display...so i have to adjust manually all day.

i am moving it all to another room with no ambient light so i don't have to do this...

i am also having issues with my Sypder 3 as it is not recognizing both monitors together (yet - trying with their tech support) but only individually so the calibration is not the same..
