24" iMac on Amazon (7600gt?)

Since the iPod rebate does not apply to the iMac's i want to buy my new iMac on Amazon and save a bunch on tax.

They only have the 7300gt version available. Any chance they will carry the 7600gt model?

You should probably call and ask them.

Also just a word of caution with "preordering" from Amazon sometimes they get very sloppy with remembering to ship their preorders.

i've been watching amazon for a while and i noticed that they usually only sell standard configurations.
because i have to upgrade memory and graphic card so I could not buy from Amazon.
anyway the tax would be basically the same as edu discount so...
