Hi all,

I recently picked up a 24" iMac and am now looking at replacing my 12" PB with a new C2D MB. (Waiting on a Black Friday sale, if it happens.)

When I got the 24" iMac I opted not to migrate anything from my old (17" G4) iMac, as I knew some things wouldn't run properly and I had some old junk on there I just didn't want polluting the new machine. ;)

However, now that I have my 24" iMac (mostly) set up the way I want, I'm reconsidering using the migration assistant to set the MB up (once I buy it).

Can anyone give me a reason why I wouldn't want to do this? The only software I have installed that might be a problem is Parallels (license restrictions) and NeoOffice. Everything else is either freeware or included in a basic install.

Thanks in advance. Any thoughts, questions, concerns appreciated.
