24" LED Cinema Display 16:10 res work with 16:9 of iMac?

Hey,

I'm purchasing a 27" iMac and I'd love a second screen; I've thought of the 24", however I'm wondering will it work OK with the iMac? The iMac's screen resolution is 2560x1440 (16:9) and the 24" screen has a 1920x1200 (16:10) resolution... Is that going to work?

Yes. The external display resolution is independent of the internal unless you mirror the display.
