24" LED Cinema Display audio problem

All of a sudden the audio on my display speakers started sounding really bad. The quality sounds like a really low bitrate mp3. Then I found that some audio won't even come through, particularly anything using Flash. I've tried several restarts and unplugging the display in various combinations. Any ideas?

This is a known issue with this display/Snow Leopard. Unplugging & then plugging back in the USB cable to your computer may solve it.

Oh I thought my display speakers were just terrible... I'll never use them anyway.
