Hello everyone!

At first I thought some driver/OS issue was the culprit, as my 24" LED Cinema Display suddenly stopped working just after I finished a MacOS update, but after some testing it would seem that the display is actually dead: my Mac Pro works fine with another display (although through HDMI connection, couldn't test any other DP display) and the LED Cinema Display won't turn on also when connected to my MacBook Air (2011).

It seems that not even the USB Hub, the webcam or the speakers get recognized. The Magsafe connector works fine, though. I suspect taking it to the Apple Store would not make much sense: even if they agree to repair it, I have the feeling it would cost less to buy a new monitor...

I was thinking of trying to replace the Logic Board: it would seem like the most likely culprit.

Any ideas?

Thank you in advance for any input!

These displays are obsolete in Apple terms, so an Apple store will not work on one, and parts are no longer available. I'd put the money toward a newer display rather than fix this one- the Cinema Displays are pretty obsolete now.

Sell the display for parts (probably only the logic board is dead, the display itself are just fine.) and buy a new display, PC displays work nicely with Mac Pro.
