24" LED Cinema Display with Matte option. When?

I using Apple Cinema Display 20" and want a bigger display.
I can afford to buy 24" LED ACD but hates a Glossy on it screen.
now the best option for me is waiting for a matte LED 24".

My Question is do you think. How long i must wait for it?

1 mnt, 2 mnt or waiting forever!!

Going to say never. None of your current computers can use it, either, unless you have a unibody MacBook Pro. Your minimum upgrade cost otherwise would be the cost of a 4870 for your Mac Pro, plus the monitor.

Unfortunately the matte 23" cinema display was discontinued when the 24" was released. So you'll probably be waiting for a long time.

I will order GT120 or 4870 for my 08 Mac pro to use a new ACD.

The GT 120 doesn't work with older Mac Pros, I don't believe.

Mac Pro ‘800MHz Memory Bus Models:

4870 - Works A-OK via its DVI port. No-go via the miniDisplay Port.

GT120 - Works like a champ with both DisplayPort and DVI Port.

Mac Pro ‘667MHZ Memory Bus Models:
————
No go with either of Video Cards from the new Mac Pros.
